My Blog and Website are Getting Facelifts
I’ve been having MAJOR work done for the past 8 months. Since I’m a NYC woman, you’re probably thinking “what kind of work” is she having done? Not what you think. I’m not talking about the typical NYC “work” like botox, fillers, or a facelift. But something much more important – a BRAND new website and blog!
Two blogs merged into one
About a year ago, I decided things were getting a bit out of control with my 2 blogs. Yep – I’m a bit nutty in that I had 2 blogs. One for women with PCOS and the one you are currently reading, City Girl Bites. This was getting to be too much work and I was getting dinged by google for often duplicating content.
So I decided to bite the bullet and go for the full facelift – brand new website and two blogs merged into one. This was not an easy decision. When my new website designer String Marketing first suggested the merge to me many months ago, I said absolutely not. I would NOT give up City Girl Bites (it’s been around for 9 years!). But I realized it made sense. So it will now be a blog running off my website and both blogs will be merged into one. This was a bit complicated as the 2 blogs often have different readers. But I think you’ll be happy with the way it works. You’ll be able to read the topics that interest you. If you used to subscribe to my PCOS blog, you’ll get only those posts emailed to you and vice versa with City Girl Bites.
I think you’ll LOVE the new look. It will be more organized with categories so you can pick the topics you want to read about including: Weight Loss, Eating Out, Fast and Easy Nutrition, Food Trends, Diabetes, Health Hacks and PCOS.
The unveiling should occur next week.
I’d love you to hear what you think once the new site and blog are up. Feel free to email me your thoughts at firstname.lastname@example.org or comment on my next blog post! Don’t forget to check out my new website as well. And don’t worry – you’ll still be able to find the blog at citygirlbites.com. It will be linked to my new site.
It would be great if you could share my blog with family, friends and coworkers. And keep in mind that I am available to provide nutritional counseling/coaching to help you meet your goals – whether it be increased energy, weight loss, nutritional management of medical conditions like diabetes, high cholesterol or IBS – or just having a healthier lifestyle!
